Lot Code Tracing

One scan. Full trace chain, forward and backward.

Every scan event — receiving, processing, packing, shipping — creates a Critical Tracking Event with all required Key Data Elements. Follow any lot code in any direction across your entire supply network.

Tracing Capabilities

Every link in the chain. Every time.

Forward & backward tracing

Enter any lot code and follow the chain in either direction — to retail destinations (forward) or to raw ingredient sources (backward). Cross-facility, cross-co-man, cross-supplier.

Automatic CTE/KDE capture

Every scan event automatically records the FDA-required Key Data Elements: lot code, quantity, unit of measure, location description, date/time, and reference document number.

Multi-ingredient lot linking

When a production run uses multiple input lots, Foodtrce automatically links all input lot codes to the output lot — creating a complete ingredient-to-finished-goods trace.

Co-manufacturer connectivity

Extend tracing to co-man partners through Foodtrce's co-man portal. Partner facilities can scan and log their CTE events directly into your trace chain without needing their own ERP integration.
